This is a blog about biking and transit (with a focus on, but not exclusively, the Bay Area).

The site logo is a reference to the standard California bike route marker (sign code SG45). These are the routes markers that SF used to use for its bike network. I'm still a fan of bike route 10 (see map) which will take you from the Pacific Ocean to the Embarcadero via two slow streets and over many hills.
